Hello, I’m writing this letter to express gratitude and appreciation for Cherisse Baptiste and the team at ECHO Housing for the approval of our requested rental assistance.Due to a set of unanticipated events, our small business had suffered significant setbacks and eventual collapse, and I was in the position of searching for a job as weeks, and soon months, went by without being to pay our bills, including housing costs.
After several failed attempts to secure grants, loans and other forms of assistance, we finally found the ECHO Housing website. A phone call and a couple of emails later, our application was completed and our case in the hands of Cherisse. I was surprised at how responsive and helpful Cherisse was throughout the entire process. I was also very impressed with how quickly the team worked at ECHO. Once our application was complete, we received regular follow-ups and approval in less than a month!
Cherisse was wonderful to work with, extremely friendly with my wife and I, and we are so grateful for the help she has provided. In addition to working through and processing our application very quickly, she also provided some very helpful budgeting guidance that my family and I will be able to use moving forward. We also want to thank everyone there behind the scenes at ECHO Housing for the much needed assistance.
With my new job, and the help provided by Cherisse and ECHO Housing, we are now on track to meet our financial obligations each month!

This is simply a quick note to let you know about the service I received. The apartment complex, ...in Dublin, was trying to charge me several hundred dollars over the current Market rate. The issue has since been resolved.

Tonight I was on a Zoom call with Jonathan and my friend, H.N. who attended a HUD First Time Homebuyers class in January. I wanted to write and tell you what an amazing advocate Jonathan is for first time homebuyers trying to navigate the BMR housing market.
Homebuying is confusing and hard to understand to start, and the BMR process is even more so. Jonathan is patient and personable and does such a wonderful job putting applicants like H at ease with his gentle encouragement and explanations of what to do.
