ECHO is always seeking dedicated individuals who are interested in becoming trained Fair Housing Testers. Testers play an integral part in helping ECHO investigate complaints of housing discrimination. People of all background are encouraged to inquire. Testers are paid $45 per site test and $15 per phone test.
ECHO is committed to ending discrimination in housing by providing counseling, mediation, investigation, and education through our Fair Housing Program. Fair Housing Specialists are available to answer your questions and schedule free training sessions for tenants, landlords, property owners, and managers. Fair Housing Specialists are also available to speak to other groups and agencies about what is covered under federal and state Fair Housing laws.
